I want to install OVMS in wife's Kona but she is against anything that means the OBD2 hatch cannot be closed. I've seen on eBay low profile ODB2 extensions such as this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LoongGate-Ultra-Low-Profile-Super-Long-OBD-II...

Sir,
i get the same cable but still can't close the hatch.
The OBD connector port can be unclipped from its mount inside the cover allowing you to connect up OVMS and close the cover.
