Hi
I just purchased and fitted an OVMS module to my 2020 Twizy. Everything seems to be setup OK (initialisation wizard, auto firmware update, Helium, etc).
Given that I have a recent Twizy, I knew that tuning is not possible with a locked SEVCON (I am not interested in this for now). However, I purchased OVMS hardware in order to remotely monitor and set charge controls (e.g. stop charge at 90% SOC).
The problem is that I have tried setting this via shell and via Android app, but it seems to be ineffective. The setting is reflected in shell/app OK (for example setting in shell, I can see change in app, and vice versa), but when the car is on charge is does not stop at the SOC % I just set.
I've tried commands like:
OVMS# xrt ca 90% S Limits: STOP @ 90% Time: 50 min. Level: 0 Full: 98 min. Charge Stopped Range: 33M - 33M SOC: 63.9%
OVMS# xrt ca Limits: STOP @ 90% Time: 50 min. Level: 0 Full: 98 min. Charge Stopped Range: 33M - 33M SOC: 63.9%
Any advice gratefully received!
My hardware/firmware is:
Hardware: OVMS WIFI BLE BT cores=2 rev=ESP32/3; MODEM SIM7600 Firmware: 3.3.003/ota_1/main (build idf v3.3.4-848-g1ff5e24b1b Sep 3 2022 11:32:12)
Apologies if the answer is in the docs somewhere; I'm new to the OVMS community. I saw something about v3.8.2 over on the Dexter's Web FAQ, but that seems like a legacy version number that seems to date back a few years (2016?)...and I don't know how that relates to the latest 3.3 versions I see on the downloads/ota site (I couldn't see any 3.8 series).
Thanks!
Tom
