I have been working on an update to add the MG5 and the new MG ZS EV. Hopefully I will soon be able to push the update to the main build. I believe that the new MG ZS EV should work with the Marvel R but without any CAN bus scans I cannot be sure. We have had a lot of problems with the MG5 setting off the alarm when polls are enabled with the vehicle locked. So, be aware that this could also happen with the Marvel R. Also note, that using OVMS there is no remote control available for the MG. So, no turning on heating/ cooling remotely or unlocking the vehicle with your phone etc. I hope this answers you question.
Hi, I hope you don’t mind me asking. As the Marvel R has iSmart, why do you need to use OVMS? If you want to help with scanning the CAN bus, I suggest you get yourself an OVMS module.
