I see that there are commits in the OpenVehicle git repository regarding Bluetooth LE Support for the console. Is that somewhat working ? It would be great not to use the internet when I can have a local connection from my mobile phone app to the device.
Is there a way to turn the bluetooth stack on ? I've tried to see the OVMS module with a bluetooth scanner to no avail.

Long answer: the Espressif bluetooth stack needs too much memory to fit with all current OVMS software components enabled, so there will probably be no way to include this without excluding some other components. For local connectivity we've got the far superior Wifi stack.
