Has anyone tried a scheduled reboot? Kinda old Windows Server trick, but I want to test out ways to keep the device online longer. Wondering if a nightly reboot might help.
Why don't you? I don't think the WDT issue is related to uptime, but could be worth trying.
Simply create a script containing "module reset", save as e.g. "/store/events/clock.0230/99-reboot" to have it run daily at 02:30, or attach it to a "clock.dayN" event for a weekly schedule.
Verify the reboot time doesn't get in conflict with your scheduled OTA auto update hour of day (see firmware config).
Thanks - I'm going to give it a try in a box that falls over quite a bit and see if it helps. The new firmware seems much more stable. So might be avoidable.
