Hi all!
My 2013 Renault Twizy Sevcon Gen4 size 4 broke recently (short circuit between B- and B+) and now I have the chance to buy a second hand one from another 2013 Twizy or a new Sevcon for the same price. The thing is that swapping Sevcons won't work because of the pairing mechanism between the instrument cluster and the Sevcon.
I have an OVMS, so is there a way to use OVMS to let the new or the second hand one working with my Twizy?
if not I had a friend who has an IXXAT and a backup of my broken Sevcon configurations and a Sevcon DVT. would that be enough to flash the new Sevcon? from where can I obtain the firmware? and how the flashed Sevcon will pair with the cluster?
I am totally a newbie to this and I am doing my best to get my Twizy back to life.

If OVMS can't help you, PowerBox from Kenneth Nilsen can do the trick. He has software that makes "stock" Sevcon work with Twizy, it adds the necessary CAN messages that are needed for instrument cluster and gear changing etc.
I have a Twizy 45 and I have swapped to the larger "full power" Sevcon..
It's a 2018 model which normally is locked so power can't be changed, but with this generic Sevcon it works fine.
