Well, after several years of having OVMS in my car I'm finally tapping out. I've had a number of issues from the beginning:
1) Keyfob range severely reduced when OVMS is plugged into the OBD2 port. Before OVMS instalation the keyfob would work from 50+ feet away from the car. After the OVMS installation the keyfob needs to be within about 5 feet of the car. This issue was reported by others but no answers.
2) The Android app stopped working for me after the recent app overhaul. The app would crash whenever it was launched so I lost the ability to monitor and interact with my Nissan Leaf.
3) About a month ago my ability to connect with my Nissan Leaf via Hologram's Spacebridge suddenly stopped working. I made no changes to the cars configuration. I saw that someone else here in the forum seems to have experienced the same issue.
I'm just exhausted trying to stay ahead of the various technologies that I use daily. After weighing the value versus the aggravation, I've decided to shut down my OVMS.
