Subject: MG ZS EV 2021 pre-facelift - remote climate/pre-heating support?
Hello,
I have an MG ZS EV 2021 pre-facelift, European/Norwegian version.
I am considering buying OVMS v3, mainly to get remote pre-heating / climate control, since this car does not have the MG app.
I contacted OVMS support and was told that, according to the current documentation, pre-heat/cool does not seem to be supported at present.
Can anyone confirm from real experience with MG ZS EV pre-facelift EU/UK models:
1. Does OVMS v3 support remote heating/pre-heating on this car?
2. If yes, which firmware version and configuration are needed?
3. Is any special cable or CAN connection required?
4. If not, does OVMS only show battery status, charging status and location?
I would like to confirm this before buying the OVMS module.
